A long term study of 1000 New Zealanders, found that people  who  have smoked marijuana for up to 20 years have more gum disease than non smokers.  The increase in gum or periodontal disease was from 26-38 years of age.

Tobacco users had not only increased gum disease but also reduced lung function, systemic inflammation and indicators of poorer metabolic health.  ” We cannot see the effects of tobacco smoking with those who only smoked cannibus.”
